Tim Hofmann did his first open mic in 2004. He did not immediately become famous. He was a relentless open-mic comic and showcase regular at the Portland Comedy Connection from 2006-2009. After a 3.5 year break to become a father twice, he returned to stand up and has performed in 9 states and the Virgin Islands in clubs, churches, dive bars, theaters & festivals. In 2013, he founded the Laugh Shack Comedy Club in a residential basement. Hofmann now hosts shows under the Laugh Shack Comedy Club banner at venues in Portland Maine and several many other places across the state.
